Hispanic Leadership Fund Launches: “I Am NOT a Jet Owner”

From our friends at the Hispanic Leadership Fund:

As many of you know, last week President Obama again called for tax hikes, claiming that he would only target the “wealthy,” i.e. those who make more than $250,000 a year.

Today the Hispanic Leadership Fund launched IamNotAJetOwner.com, a site to call attention to the pitfalls of President Obama’s class warfare approach, and why raising taxes on the upper bracket also ensnares small business owners, many of whom are making less than the $250,000 that Obama thinks qualifies them to be “Jet Owners.”

Hispanics start small businesses at a rate three times that of the general population, so tax hikes that affect small business owners will be particularly damaging. And of course Obama views Latino voters as central to his reelection efforts.

If you are blogging, tweeting, or writing on the President’s plan to raise taxes, make sure to mention @IAmNotAJetOwner on Twitter and Facebook here:
